piVac Africa (Pty) Ltd is a global business with a family touch, started by Nick Embleton and now run by his son Giles Embleton and his team. We offer our customers continuity, personalised service and 40 years of vacuum knowledge and experience.

50 Years of Vacuum Innovation
1971
Nicholas Embleton starts PIAB Africa, importing the very first PIAB products into South Africa.
1983
PIAB (Pty) Ltd is founded to focus exclusively on promoting PIAB products in Africa.
2006
Giles Embleton becomes managing director of PIAB (Pty) Ltd, inheriting the business from his father.
2012
The business changes its name to piVac Africa, reflecting African focus and broad product range.
2021
piVac Africa relocates back to original Johannesburg offices.
2022
In the last 50 years piVac Africa have built up a strong relationship with PIAB AB Sweden and have established PIAB as the leading brand in industrial air driven vacuum pumps in Africa.
